A Linocut Press for Reduction Printmaking

The Registration Pressbed setup is for linocut printmakers who want to print using dry paper. This kit makes it possible to print multiple passes on a single sheet of paper for reductive prints. It can also press intaglio and monoprints using dampened paper.

This setup include the Pocket Press and press bed with built in registration pegs. The pegs make it easy to line up your paper and print editions more quickly than with a baren. You can manually punch your own holes with a standard hole punch, or slide the punches on a 3 hold punch to match the distance of the pegs.

The press is approximately 3″ x 3″ x 2.5″ Unlike any other roller press, your print size is not limited to the size of your rollers. The rollers concentrate your strength and enable you to to press in overlapping rows. The Registration Pressbed is easy to store and set up anywhere.

The platen (also known as the press bed) is 9″ x 12″ with a printing area of about 9″ x 9″.

Description

For US orders I use USPS Priority Mail and for international orders I use USPS standard post service.

US orders usually arrive within a week. Overseas order can take a few weeks. Keep in mind that your country may charge you a customs fee.

Every press kit comes with a 2 year replacement warranty from the date of sale. Contact me to arrange a return within a week of receiving your order. I issue refunds for the cost of the press and platen. I cannot refund shipping.

Backorders. If this kit is out of stock and you place a backorder, please understand that it may take 2 or more weeks to ship. I work quickly, but sometimes the parts I need take time.

Tip. Rub colored chalk or graphite on the top of the pegs and gentle touch the bottom of your paper to it. This will show you exactly where to punch your holes.
