San Fernando Road Roof

For my beer can etching series. I sanded the plate to create a darker tone to reflect the quality of the evening light. I lifted the ink in some areas to show the last streams of sunlight on the building’s roof vents and walls.

This is a delicate etching. I recommend hanging in a bright room to be sure to bring out the detail of the power lines, the tiny insulators and power lines.
