Description
I created this dual headed baren for printmaking with a wooden side and a felt side. It is comfortable to grasp around the side or at the top. The ability to shift hand position can be more comfortable for longer printmaking sessions. Made from aspen, this baren stands 4″ tall and is 2″ across. The top is sanded completely smooth and the bottom has a felt head. I left the wood natural, but I can finish the sides with my preferred combination of oil and wax.
