Description
The pointed tip feather paintbrush make the thinnest line, even finer than the lizard’s lick watercolor paintbrush.
I make each feather paintbrush by hand using foraged feathers and dried oak branches. I make the tips using the same method monks used to craft the brushes to create their illuminated manuscripts. I updated the design with an oak handle, making the paintbrush much sturdier.
Brush color will vary depending on the feather. As they are traditionally used for watercolor and calligraphy, these handcrafted brushes can also be used on your monoprint plates.
Each brush is about 8 inches long with at half inch long brush head.
